City of Philadelphia's Aid to Haiti

Today at the Municipal Services building Mayor Michael Nutter joined local Haitian organizations such as the Haitian Clergy, Haitian Coalition, and the Red Cross to speak about how the City plans on sending Aid to Haiti.

"What we're doing right now is planning on how we will send the aid," said the Mayors Commissioner for African Caribbean Immigrant Affairs. "We are organizing a number of drop offs of clothing, food and other necessities so that is can then be sent to Haiti."

"What's going to happen is that the supplies of aid will go to Miami Florida first and then it will go through an American Naval Base to Haiti." said Mayor Michael Nutter.

Gilda Jean-Louis from the Elise Foundation said that "We're going to see where we can actually store the material aid before sending it."

Pan American Charter School gets a visit from the Three Kings

The gift of love.

Yup that's what the Three Kings told students ranging from kindergarten to Fifth grade today.

All three of the kings came from different parts of the world. The first was from Asia, the second from Africa and the third from Europe.

The three kings gave the students all gifts today.

However, they stressed that love was more important and advised all of the children to give their family members a great big hug when they go home today.
